Askabide’s public information identifies Fernando Simon as the clinical lead for the laboratory and a Specialist Biologist in Clinical Analysis. This site uses that designation and does not describe him as a medical director.
Each Askabide centre has a laboratory for many routine determinations. When a technique requires external equipment or specialist processing, the specimen follows the established pathway to a partner laboratory.
